  162. panel. This can be useful if you want to select several large
  163. images for processing.

  166. when running Easy Thumbnails from the command line. Use the new
  167. /LOG switch to store status information in a log file. You can
  168. specify a filename for the log results by using an equal sign
  169. after /LOG followed by the filename. If you don't specify a log
  170. file, results will be stored in "EzThumbs.log" in the program's
  171. folder. Examples:

  182. * Easy Thumbnails can create Web pages with your choice of images.
  183. The layout can be defined through simple template files. See the
  184. "Make Web page" command described below.

  186. * Added command-line switches. These let you create thumbnails
  187. and Web pages without using the program's interface. Thanks to
  188. this feature, you can generate thumbnails seamlessly from other
  189. programs. See the Help file for details.

  191. * Added a "Make Thumbnail" command to the Windows Explorer File
  192. and shortcut menus. This command only appears for supported
  193. file types and is ideal for quickly converting one or two
  194. images. This feature is only suitable for handling small amounts
  195. of images at a time (five or less).

  197. * New "Make Web page" command, which is available when you right-
  198. click with your mouse in the picture-files listing. Use this
  199. command to create a Web page based on your current selection of
  200. images. The layout is defined in the "Template.html" template
  201. file, which you can customize. By default, the Web-page file is
  202. saved as "pictures.html", and each new copy adds an index number
  203. after the name -- e.g., pictures(1).html, pictures(2).html, etc.
  204. You can set a different name through the program's command line.

  206. * New "Show in browser" command, which is available when you
  207. right-click with your mouse in the picture-files listing. Use this
  208. command to display the current selection of images in your default
  209. browser. The layout is defined in the "Template.html" template
  210. file, which you can customize.
  211.  
  212. * Easy Thumbnails now correctly recognizes Jpeg files using the
  213. .jpe extension. These represent truncated .jpeg extensions.
  214.  
  215. * Fixed a glitch that caused a black pixel to appear at the top +
  216. bottom left side of images with a non-zero Sharpness setting.
